The executive committee at Al-Ahli club has moved in recent days to offer the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club's company to Prince Fahd bin Khalid, who has so far declined to accept the task despite significant pressure to convince him.

Journalist Ayed Al-Dhahis reported that communications are still ongoing between the executive committee and Prince Fahd in the hope that he will change his stance, given his extensive experience and close relationship with Al-Ahli fans and the current administration.

Al-Dhahis indicated that the committee has put a backup plan in place in case the refusal continues, as Mr. Khalid Tash is considered the most likely candidate for the position, due to his active role within the board and his standing in the club's administrative system.

However, close sources confirmed that Tash is not inclined to accept the new position and prefers to continue his work within the executive committee without taking on additional responsibilities, supporting Al-Ahli's journey from his current position.

In a related context, reports have revealed that all members of the executive committee have so far rejected the idea of taking on the presidency of the profit company, despite intensive efforts to convince one of them to lead the club's economic project.

According to the same reports, the committee has begun new steps to communicate with two prominent figures who enjoy the trust of Al-Ahli fans, in an attempt to choose a new leader to guide the company towards a more stable and successful phase.
