Olympique Safi Club announced today, Saturday, the appointment of the national coach Simo Tawfiq as the new head coach of the first team, succeeding the previous coach Amin Al-Karma, whose technical mission recently ended.

The club clarified in an official statement that the choice of Simo Tawfiq came after a comprehensive evaluation of the requirements for the upcoming phase, as part of a vision aimed at maintaining technical stability and continuing to implement the team's sports project.

The statement confirmed that the new coach enjoys the confidence of the club's management, due to his high competence and precise knowledge of the team's environment, which aligns with the club's aspirations to achieve positive results in the upcoming local competitions.

The management of Olympique Safi also called on the team's fans to continue their support and backing and to rally around the technical staff and players, in order to ensure continuity and achieve the set goals.

It is noteworthy that media reports had mentioned negotiations between Olympique Safi and several names, including the Tunisian coach Lassad Chabbi, who later confirmed receiving an official offer from the club, before deciding to reject the offer and not join the team.
