Juventus Targets Signing Milan's Goalkeeper
Friday 10-10-2025
Football Italia has confirmed that Juventus is planning to sign French goalkeeper Mike Maignan from Milan after his contract expires next June, as he will be available as a free agent without any financial cost to the Italian club.

Juventus is looking to strengthen the goalkeeper position, especially after negotiations between Mike Maignan and Milan have stalled for several months regarding a contract renewal, while the club's sporting director is seeking to push the deal through before the end of the season.

Chelsea had attempted to sign Maignan last summer, but the English club did not make an offer that satisfied Milan, as they only offered 15 million euros, despite the goalkeeper's desire to move, and Maignan is currently earning 2.8 million euros annually with Milan while benefiting from tax reductions granted under the Italian Growth Decree.

The report indicates that Bayern Munich is also interested in signing the French goalkeeper, meaning Juventus will face strong competition to secure his services.

The same source added that current Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio is attracting interest from some Premier League clubs, which would facilitate his transfer if Maignan joins Allianz Stadium.
