Flamengo President Still Desires Jorge Jesus' Return
Kleber Leite, the president of the Brazilian club Flamengo, revealed in press statements about the Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, the current head coach of Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, confirming that his desire for Jesus' return to the club, where he achieved remarkable successes years ago, is still alive.
Leite explained that Jesus was on the verge of returning to Flamengo in 2021, but he requested time to think, which led the management at that time to pursue a contract with coach Paulo Sousa.
Leite said: "I have no doubt that Jesus still aspires to return to Flamengo in the future."
Jesus led Flamengo in an exceptional season between 2019 and 2020, winning four major titles, including the Brazilian league and the Copa Libertadores.
During that period, he oversaw 62 matches, achieving 46 wins, 9 draws, and only 7 losses.
