The website "Fichajes" revealed that Liverpool is planning to make a record offer of €150 million to sign Michael Olise, the winger from Bayern Munich, during the summer transfer window of 2026, to be the successor of the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, who is expected to leave the club at the end of the season.

According to the source, this move is part of coach Arne Slot's strategy to rebuild the attacking line, amid the possibility of Salah leaving after a successful career that lasted for years at Anfield.

Since joining Bayern Munich in 2024, Olise has excelled remarkably in the Bundesliga, contributing to 43 direct goals, scoring 20 and providing 23 assists in 55 matches, earning the title of Best Player of the Club, and becoming one of the most prominent attacking talents in Europe.

The same source clarified that several major European clubs, notably Chelsea and Manchester City, are closely monitoring the player's situation, while Bayern Munich is seeking to renew his contract until 2031 with a salary increase, in an attempt to retain him.

Nevertheless, Liverpool remains determined to make an offer that could exceed €100 million, in an effort to convince the German club to part with their star, paving the way for him to become the new star in the Reds' future project.
