Injured Al-Nassr players, Saad Al-Nasser, Sami Al-Najai, and Abdul Malik Al-Jaber, continued their treatment programs at the club on Thursday, despite their teammates having a day off, according to the sports newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah".

Saad Al-Nasser, who is 24 years old, underwent medical examinations that confirmed he suffered a ligament tear in his ankle, which occurred during the first half of the team's opening match against Tajikistan's Istiklol Dushanbe in the AFC Champions League.

Meanwhile, 28-year-old Sami Al-Najai has partially recovered from surgery he underwent in Barcelona after suffering a tear in his cruciate ligament during last season's opening match against Al-Raed, and he is nearing a return after a full season's absence.

On the other hand, 21-year-old Abdul Malik Al-Jaber underwent knee cartilage surgery due to an injury he sustained at the beginning of the summer training camp before the current season started.

The team will resume training today, Friday, after Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus granted them a day off on Thursday following their 2-0 victory over Iraq's Al-Zawraa in the AFC Champions League.
