Tottenham's Position on Signing Palhinha Permanently
Journalist Ben Jacobs revealed that English club Tottenham Hotspur is interested in permanently signing Portuguese player Joao Palhinha at the end of the current season.
According to the source, the English club plans to activate the purchase option in the Portuguese player's contract, which is valued at £26 million (around €30 million).
Jacobs noted that Tottenham's management may attempt to negotiate to reduce the deal's value, especially after the player has shown a preference to remain with the London team.
Palhinha has played 10 matches with Tottenham this season across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
