Omar Al-Ghamdi, the former Al-Hilal star, believes that Salem Al-Dosari is one of the most important players for the team and is still delivering his best performances. He stated that coach Inzaghi should utilize him in the best way possible to benefit from his abilities.

Al-Ghamdi added in television statements: "When Al-Hilal contracted with Inzaghi, didn't anyone inform the coach about the importance of Salem Al-Dosari as one of the top players?".

He continued: "I do not blame the management for Al-Dosari's situation, but the coach is responsible for the playing style and his choices of players."

He added: "Did Inzaghi not think of innovating a style that suits Al-Dosari? He should know that Al-Dosari is an important player; he is 34 years old but is still delivering his best performances, especially in major matches."
