Ousmane Dembélé, the winger for Paris Saint-Germain, received widespread congratulations after being crowned the Ballon d'Or 2025 as the best player in the world, following an exceptional season with the French team.

The first to congratulate him was his compatriot Kylian Mbappé, followed by Real Madrid player Aurélien Tchouaméni, who posted a picture on his Instagram account of Dembélé holding the Ballon d'Or, commenting 'God is Greatest' with a mention of his French teammate's account.

It is worth noting that Tchouaméni has not played with Dembélé at club level, but he has played with him on the French national team, achieving their notable accomplishment of being runners-up in the 2022 World Cup.

Dembélé is the sixth French player to win the Ballon d'Or, with French players having won this award eight times in history, including Michel Platini, who has won it the most with three Ballon d'Ors.
