Hussein Abdulghani, the former Al-Ahli star, revealed his solidarity with Abdulilah Al-Amri, the Al-Nasr defender, after he faced criticism from his club's fans due to his desire to move to Al-Ittihad during the summer transfer window.

Al-Amri had participated in Al-Nasr's 5-0 victory over Istiklol Dushanbe in the first round of the AFC Champions League group stage, and the player appeared distant from his teammates' celebrations after the goals, which stirred the fans' dissatisfaction.

Al-Amri had sent a message to Al-Nasr fans via his account on X, confirming that he is a professional player who respects his contract.

He also indicated that he is going through family circumstances that the club is aware of, expressing his love and appreciation for the fans and that he will give his utmost on the field.

For his part, Abdulghani said: "I tell Al-Nasr fans to leave Abdulilah Al-Amri alone and maintain the team's stability, and do not create any problems with the player."

He added: "The management of Al-Nasr is responsible for holding any player accountable if they fail, and if Al-Amri did not celebrate with the team, this is not something that warrants creating any problem that threatens the team's stability, and I tell the fans that they should support the player even if he makes mistakes."
