Mohamed Salah's Post-Match Comments
Mohamed Salah, the star of the Egyptian national team and Liverpool, appeared in press statements after the team's 1-0 victory over Burnley in the fourth round of the Premier League at Turf Moor stadium.
Salah scored Liverpool's only goal from a penalty successfully executed in the 90+5 minute.
Salah said: "It was a tough opponent today, we did our best to maintain possession of the ball. It was difficult, but I am happy that we succeeded in that."
He added: "We have some new players in the starting lineup, and it takes time to adapt to our style of play, and we are doing our best to give them confidence in our game style."
He concluded: "We do not know how to give up, we try to put in the maximum effort possible, and we succeeded as a team in that."
