Ahmed Khalaf: We are ready to face Duhok and this is our goal this season
The coach of Al-Karma team, Ahmed Khalaf, confirmed that his team's match against Duhok will be difficult as both teams kick off their journey in the Iraqi Stars League, but he emphasized the players' readiness despite the circumstances leading up to the match.
Khalaf said: "Beginnings are always difficult, whether for us or for Duhok, especially after 11 players returned from their commitments with national teams during the FIFA window, as they joined us only 3 days ago, yet we are ready for tomorrow's match."
He added: "We fully understand the difficulty of the confrontation on Duhok's ground, especially with the value of the audience's presence, but this season the team will play without its fans due to the football association's decision to ban them from attending."
He continued: "We represent the Anbar province in the Iraqi Stars League, and all eyes are on us, and we aspire to present something special for this city."
Regarding his tactical options,
Khalaf clarified: "I have a distinguished group of players, all of whom are ready whether they are in the starting lineup or on the bench, as the team is not just 11 players, but a complete unit."
He concluded by saying: "Our goal is to compete in all tournaments, but this requires hard work and diligence, as the league is difficult and long, and we must have confidence and faith to achieve our goals."
