Gomez Talks About Coaching Al Ahly: No Official Communication
Portuguese coach Jose Gomez, currently with Al Fateh and previously with Zamalek, stated that he has talked about the possibility of taking over coaching Al Ahly following Spanish coach Jose Ribeiro.
According to press sources, Gomez is among the names being considered to lead Al Ahly in the upcoming phase after Ribeiro's departure due to poor results.
Gomez commented on the situation regarding coaching Al Ahly: "In Egypt, you have a lot of news about everything."
He added: "Al Ahly has not communicated with me officially yet, and I do not know anything else; I am here on my mission with Al Fateh."
