Several Saudi clubs were active on the last day of the summer transfer market, completing their final deals in preparation for the new season of the Saudi Pro League, known as the Roshan League.
The summer market closed on Wednesday evening, recording 22 official deals on the final day through the clubs' official accounts and platforms, with Al-Taawoun and Al-Shabab being the most active clubs in the final hours.
Ten clubs were completely absent from the action on the last day after fulfilling their needs earlier, including Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, Al-Qadisiyyah, Al-Ahli, Al-Ettifaq, Al-Khulood, Al-Riyadh, Al-Khaleej, Damak, and Al-Akhdood.
Al-Taawoun stood out on the last day, making six quality signings, including Ecuadorian Christopher Zambrano, Brazilian Victor Hugo, French Romain Faivre, defender Bassam Al-Hariji from Al-Ahli, Mohammed Al-Dosari from Neom, and Mishaal Al-Alaile from Al-Ettifaq.
Meanwhile, Al-Shabab strengthened its squad with French Yacine Adli, English Josh Brownhill, and Saad Belaili coming from Al-Ahli, while Al-Ittihad settled for signing young Serbian defender Carlo Simic from Belgian Anderlecht.
Neom completed its needs by signing Portuguese goalkeeper Luis Maximiano, young Uruguayan player Luciano Rodriguez, and local goalkeeper Raed Azibi from Al-Khaleej, while Al-Fateh rushed to secure its net with Spanish Fernando Pacheco and signed striker Ekambi.
Al-Faihah also bolstered its squad with Cypriot midfielder Stelianus Vrountens and Venezuelan defender Mikel Villanueva, while Al-Najma completed three deals, including Brazilian goalkeeper Victor Braga, young striker Lazaro Vinicius, and local striker Hisham Al-Dubais, while Al-Hazm was limited to one deal with Khalid Al-Sibai.
