The German newspaper "Bild" revealed that Bayern Munich's management will soon resume talks with French defender Dayot Upamecano to renew his contract, after negotiations halted during the summer transfer window.

According to the report, the first meetings with the player's agent are scheduled to take place in the near future, in an attempt to reach a final agreement that will determine Upamecano's future with the Bavarian club.

The source indicated that the previous disagreement between the two parties revolved around the high salary the player demands and the potential release clause to be included in the new contract, which Bayern's management will seek to resolve during the upcoming sessions.

It is worth noting that the French star's contract with the Bavarian club expires at the end of the current season, amid interest from several clubs in signing him.
