The Spanish League Association has announced the adjustment of the Madrid Derby between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid, to be held on Saturday, September 27, instead of the old date which was Sunday, September 28.

This decision comes in order to give both teams a longer rest period before competing in the Champions League group stage matches.

The match will be played as part of the seventh round of the Spanish league, hosted at the Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium, home of the Rojiblancos.

The kickoff is scheduled for 5:15 PM Saudi time, and 6:15 PM UAE time.

This adjustment aligns with the commitments of Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid in the Champions League, as both teams will play their matches in the second round of the group stage on Tuesday, September 30.
