Al-Qadisiyah Shocks Al-Ahli Over Turki Al-Amar
Wednesday 03-09-2025
The management of Al-Qadisiyah Club has closed the door on the idea of transferring its star Turki Al-Amar to Al-Ahli, after officially rejecting the idea of giving up the remaining duration of the player's contract, according to sources confirmed to the newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah".

The sources revealed that the last contact between the two parties took place on Tuesday, where the management of the Eastern club clarified to Al-Ahli representatives that selling is not an option at this time, and that the decision is not related to financial aspects or the seriousness of the offer.

The account "Al-Riyadiyah Ajil" announced on August 19 via the "X" platform that Al-Ahli's management had submitted an official offer to buy Al-Amar's contract from Al-Qadisiyah, in a move that sparked widespread controversy among fans.

The Jeddah club's management made an enticing offer worth 30 million riyals, hoping to convince the Qadisiyah side to part with the player, but the response was a decisive rejection of the idea at this stage.

It is worth noting that Al-Amar, who is 25 years old, had refused in July to extend his contract with Al-Qadisiyah for an offer of 10 million riyals per season, according to what "Al-Riyadiyah Ajil" published at the time.

Since his transfer from Al-Shabab to Al-Qadisiyah in the summer of 2023, Al-Amar has played 61 official matches, scoring eight goals and providing nine assists, and has significantly contributed to his team's victory in the Yelo League for first division clubs.
