The Algerian international Abdel Rahim Daghmoum stole the spotlight at the start of the Egyptian Premier League this season, leading his team, Al-Masry Al-Portsaid, to a significant victory over Ismaily Electricity with a clean four-goal win in the fifth round.

Daghmoum was the man of the match, directly contributing to three goals. He earned a penalty that his teammate Salah Mohsen converted into the first goal (68'), before providing an assist to his teammate Omar Al-Sa'i (78'), and then capped off the goal festival by scoring the fourth goal himself (89').

With this goal, Daghmoum raised his tally to 4 goals, taking the lead in the top scorers' chart of the Egyptian league, ahead of his compatriot Mounir Tamin and his teammate Omar Al-Sa'i (both with 3 goals). He was also awarded the best player of the match by the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association, marking the third time he has received this award in just the first five matches of the season.

In statements to ON Sport channel, Daghmoum expressed his happiness, saying: "The win is very important for us in our league journey. God willing, we will compete for everything this season, and the team has elements capable of achieving great results in the league and cup. Focus and teamwork are the keys to success."

It is worth noting that Daghmoum, a graduate of ES Sétif in Algeria, has participated in 5 matches this season with Al-Masry Al-Portsaid, during which he has marked 4 goals and provided 5 assists, making him one of the standout stars of the Egyptian league so far.
