The Iraqi U-20 national team achieved a precious victory over their Egyptian counterpart with a score of 2-0, in the match held at the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium, as part of the second round of the U-20 Gulf Cup.

The Iraqi youth entered the match with high determination after their victory in the first round against Bahrain, and they were able to impose their personality from the first minutes, as player Zain Al-Abidin Yasser opened the scoring in the third minute, giving his teammates a significant morale boost that helped them control the course of the match.

In the second half, the Iraqi team continued to dominate until player Youssef Jassim reinforced the score with the second goal in the 68th minute, confirming the team's seriousness in competing for the top spot.

With this victory, Iraq's team raised their points to 6 from two matches, leading their group with a perfect score, with a decisive match remaining against the Oman team in the third round.
