Toni Kroos, the former midfielder of Real Madrid, spoke on the podcast "Einfach mal Luppen" with his brother Felix, where he touched on many issues and matters related to the royal team.

Kroos said in his talk: "Before Xabi Alonso arrived, everyone mostly knew who would play in the lineup, when, and how much they would play," which explains the team's failure last season.

He added: "The problem last year was that Real Madrid did not really win against any strong team. This is very unusual; this season, the intensity of training and internal competition is good, and this dynamic directly reflects on the team's performance during matches."

He continued: "Vinicius sitting on the bench against Oviedo? There were clear changes in some positions and in the style of play."

He clarified: "I expect Real Madrid to play better football, but it is too early to judge. Last week, the team played a good match, but it is still too early for a final evaluation. I believe the team has been strengthened well. I expect a better season than the previous one. There is still room for improvement."

Regarding Real Madrid's ability to win the Champions League: "It won't be easy; the Champions League is tough, with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, and Arsenal participating."

On Dean Hausen, he concluded: "A very complete center-back has been signed, strong in aerial balls, fast, and has good ability to bring the ball out from the back."
