Officially: Juventus Announces Thiago Djaló's Transfer to Beşiktaş
The Italian club Juventus announced the permanent transfer of its Portuguese defender Thiago Djaló to the Turkish club Beşiktaş for a fee of 3.5 million euros, to be paid over three financial years, in addition to variable bonuses reaching up to one million euros.
Djaló, who is 25 years old, failed to establish himself with Juventus since joining in January 2024 from Lille, France, in a deal that was worth 5.1 million euros plus variables at that time.
His participation with the first team was limited to just one match, in which he played 16 minutes against Monza, before being loaned to Porto for half a season.
Upon returning to Turin this summer, the player was out of coach Igor Tudor's plans, which hastened his departure to the Turkish league.
With his move to Beşiktaş, Thiago Djaló hopes to revive his football career after a short and unsuccessful experience in the Italian league.
