Dhamak Completes Five Deals at Once to Strengthen Its Squad
Dhamak Club announced early Wednesday the completion of five new signings in one go during the summer transfer market, including foreign and local players, in a move aimed at strengthening the team's lines ahead of the upcoming season.
The southern club revealed through its official website the signing of Guinean international Morlaye Sylla, Argentine winger Valentin Vada, in addition to the local trio Hassan Rabi, Khaled Al-Sameri, and goalkeeper Moataz Al-Baqawi.
According to informed sources, all signed contracts extend for two years, with the club not disclosing financial details, while the players are expected to join training sessions in the coming days in preparation for the start of the Roshen League.
Sylla, who is 27 years old, is considered the most prominent of Dhamak's new signings, having played 114 matches with Arouca in Portugal over three seasons, scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists, and he has represented his national team Guinea in 35 international matches.
As for Vada, who is 29 years old, he progressed through Bordeaux in France and had stints with Saint-Étienne and clubs in Spain, reaching Rubin Kazan in Russia, while Al-Sameri returns to the league with Dhamak after experiences with Al-Ittihad, Al-Faisaly, and Al-Khaleej.
With the addition of Al-Baqawi, the goalkeeper coming from Al-Tai, and defender Hassan Rabi, who shone with Al-Ain in the Yelo League, Dhamak has added diverse elements to enhance its technical balance, especially after a summer period that saw a lack of signings until this major announcement.
