Media reports have indicated that Algerian international Hossam Aouar is close to leaving Al-Ittihad Club in Saudi Arabia, after the club's management accepted his request to depart during the current transfer window.

According to La Gazette du Fennec, the Algerian midfielder has caught the interest of several European clubs, most notably English clubs Aston Villa and Bournemouth, alongside French clubs that have expressed their desire to sign him.

Aouar's decision to leave Al-Ittihad came after a wave of criticism directed at him following his performance in the recent Saudi Super Cup match, prompting him to seriously consider embarking on a new experience away from the Saudi league.

It is worth noting that Hossam Aouar, who is 26 years old, has a contract with Al-Ittihad that extends until the summer of 2028, which gives the Saudi club a strong negotiating position in the event of his anticipated transfer.
