Sherif Ikrami, the goalkeeper for Pyramids FC, revealed the truth about retiring from football in the upcoming period, given his absence from participating regularly with his team.

Ikrami wrote on his social media account on 'X': "With all due respect to all opinions, my complete focus right now is on my work on the field as a professional player only."

He added: "A player who respects his history and workplace does not prepare for any external positions; each stage in a football player's life has its circumstances, and this is determined by each player according to his vision, mentality, and self-assessment."

He continued: "Right now, I am continuing my journey with respect for my history, and the most important thing is that I enjoy football and the appreciation in the place I am in. When the right time comes for any decision, I will share it transparently."
