Saudi Football Federation Responds to Tony's Statements: Organization is Fair to All Clubs
Sultan Al-Mahous, the supervisor of media and institutional communication at the Saudi Football Federation, confirmed that what the Al-Ahli striker Ivan Toney mentioned about obstacles in training schedules does not reflect the reality of the organization in the Saudi Super Cup 2025.
Al-Mahous explained that the organizing committee for the tournament has worked from day one to establish a clear and transparent mechanism that ensures equality among all participating clubs, while meeting all their requirements through precise schedules and plans prepared in advance in direct coordination with the teams' management.
He added that all organizational procedures related to stadiums, training schedules, and logistical support were conducted through official and documented channels, ensuring clarity of procedures, noting that the committee has not received any official complaints from any club regarding this matter.
He indicated that the arrangements for training and facilities were completed according to what was previously agreed upon, with a high degree of precision, reflecting the commitment to provide a fair and professional environment for all participating clubs in the tournament.
Al-Mahous concluded his statement by praising the success of the current edition of the Super Cup in terms of organizational, media, and fan levels, emphasizing that what has been achieved is the result of significant support from the wise leadership and cooperation from clubs and fans, reinforcing the status of Saudi football globally within the objectives of the 'Kingdom's Vision.'
