Officially.. Manchester City Announces Ruben Dias Contract Renewal

Manchester City has announced that their Portuguese defender Ruben Dias has signed a new contract extending for four years, keeping him with the team until the summer of 2029.

Dias, who is 28 years old, joined City in September 2020 from Benfica and has become a key figure in the defense, having played over 200 matches for the team and won 9 major titles, including 4 Premier League titles and the Champions League, along with numerous individual awards.

Dias said: "I am extremely happy today and proud to represent this great club. Manchester City is the place I want to be, at the top and competing for trophies. The club's ambition aligns perfectly with my ambition, and that is the best thing for any football player."

He added: "I love Manchester; it has become my home, and I love the City fans who have supported me from day one. Now the hard work begins, and I promise the fans that I will do everything I can to achieve more titles and bring more success to the team."
