Reliable journalist David Ornstein revealed that Arsenal has entered into official negotiations to sign Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, in order to strengthen and bolster their squad.

According to Ornstein's report on his official account on X platform, the 27-year-old player's desire is to join the ranks of the 'Gunners'.

Tottenham had reached a preliminary agreement today with Crystal Palace and the player, but the injury to Kai Havertz prompted Arsenal to accelerate their steps towards completing the deal, as the London club is close to finalizing the signing of the England international.

If Eze chooses to join Arsenal, Tottenham will look for other alternatives in the transfer market, knowing that Savinho, the Manchester City star, will be at the top of Spurs' priorities.
