The Students Club has made a new deal to strengthen its defense line, announcing the signing of young center-back Hussein Amer, 23 years old, coming from Al-Minaa Club, as part of the team's preparations for the new football season 2025-2026

Hussein Amer is considered one of the promising players in his position, having previously represented Al-Minaa, Maysan Oil, and Electrical Industries clubs, and participated with the Iraqi Olympic team in the Paris 2024 Olympics, which gives him additional international experience

The Students management confirmed that the signing of Amer is part of the club's plans to strengthen the team's back line and ensure better defensive balance, noting that the player has good technical skills and the ability to play under pressure, which will enhance the coaching staff's options in defense

For his part, Hussein Amer expressed his happiness at joining the Students Club, confirming his desire to deliver the best performance and contribute to achieving the team's goals in the upcoming season, both in the local league and in other tournaments the club participates in.
