Al-Mina Port Signs Najm Shwan from Duhok
Al-Mina Club announced its signing of defender Najm Shwan coming from Duhok Club, as part of the club's efforts to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season's competitions in the Iraqi Stars League
Shwan has a diverse football experience, having previously represented the Iraqi national team for a short period, in addition to playing in several domestic and international clubs, most notably with Al-Zawraa and Al-Kahrabaa locally, and Al-Dhafra in the UAE, alongside Rodar Velene in Slovenia
Last season, Shwan was one of the key players for Duhok Club, which managed to win the Gulf Champions League and the Iraqi Cup, granting him additional experience in team competitions
The management of Al-Mina confirmed that the signing of the player was made to meet the team's defensive needs, without exaggerating the description of the deal, noting that the main goal is to build a balanced team capable of competing and delivering an acceptable level during the upcoming season.
