The Al-Ettifaq club has granted Al-Nassr management a deadline until next Wednesday to finalize the transfer of defender Abdullah Madu, amidst intense anticipation from Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad regarding the player's final decision before entering into any other negotiations.

Sources revealed that Madu has received verbal offers from both Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad; however, Al-Ettifaq is currently focusing on Al-Nassr's position before taking any further steps regarding his future in the new season.

Al-Nassr management had initiated official negotiations with the player returning to the team, where Madu expressed his welcome return to his original club where he grew up, confirming his readiness to rejoin if an agreement is reached on the details.

Abdullah Madu is one of the graduates of the Al-Nassr Academy and played for the first team between 2013 and 2024 before moving to Al-Ettifaq last season, where he regularly participated under his current coach and delivered outstanding performances.

Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus of Al-Nassr hopes to strengthen the defense line with Madu's return, especially after the departure of Ali Lajami to Al-Hilal and the expiration of Mohammed Al-Fateel's contract with the team, to bolster the backline in preparation for the new season.
