Kayou Approaches Departure from Al-Hilal with Attractive Offers
The Brazilian Kayou Cesar, the young winger of Al-Hilal, has received two official offers to leave the team during the current summer transfer window, as he has fallen out of favor with Italian coach Simone Inzaghi.
The Saudi newspaper Al-Yawm reported that Kayou, who has been registered as a player under the age limit, is close to leaving the blue club, as he has an offer from his former club Vitoria Guimarães in Portugal, along with interest from a Brazilian club.
Other reports have revealed that Brazilian club Cruzeiro has entered negotiations to sign the 21-year-old player, who joined Al-Hilal in January 2025 from Guimarães.
Kayou played 21 matches with Al-Hilal last season, during which he managed to score 3 goals and provide 3 assists, but coach Inzaghi does not include him in his plans for the new season.
Al-Hilal aims to market the player's contract in preparation for signing a new player under the age limit, in response to the wishes of their Italian coach, who seeks to strengthen the team's ranks further before the competitions start.
Al-Hilal has made four notable summer signings so far, including the acquisition of striker Abdulkarim Darsi, defender Ali Lajami, along with French Theo Hernandez from Milan, and Uruguayan Darwin Nunez from Liverpool.
