Spanish Federation Reveals Referees for Saturday's Matches in La Liga
The Spanish Football Federation announced the appointments of referees for the first round of La Liga for the 2025/2026 season, with Andalusian referee José Luis Munuera selected to officiate the match between Real Mallorca and Barcelona, which will take place tomorrow, Saturday, at 8:30 PM Cairo time.
Munuera will be supported in the VAR room by referee Jorge Figueroa, in a match highly anticipated by the fans of both teams.
As for the match between Valencia and Real Sociedad scheduled for 10:30 PM, the main referee will be José María Sánchez from the Murcia region, with referee Valentín Pizarro from Madrid in the VAR room.
In another match at the same time, referee Miguel Cezma, a newcomer to the top division, will lead the match between Deportivo Alavés and Levante, assisted by referee Carlos Del Cerro in the VAR.
This announcement aligns with the Spanish Federation's policy of announcing referee appointments just one day before the matches commence.
