Agreement Sets 3 Conditions for Al-Nassr's Return of Abdullah Madu
Al-Nassr inquired about the possibility of signing Abdullah Madu, the current defender of Al-Ettifaq, during the summer transfer window, following the recommendation of the Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus to strengthen the defense in preparation for the new season.
According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah", Al-Ettifaq has set conditions for releasing Madu, including waiving overdue dues amounting to 12 million riyals, in addition to paying another 6 million, along with canceling the 25% clause on any future sale of Khalid Al-Ghanam's contract.
These conditions have led Al-Nassr to postpone finalizing the deal until the future of defender Abdulilah Al-Omari, who is returning from a loan with Ittihad last season, is determined, as the player is attracting interest from both Ittihad and Al-Qadisiyah.
The source indicated that Madu's desire to return to his former club remains, and Al-Nassr's management is carefully studying all the details before making a final decision regarding the contract.
It is worth mentioning that Madu began his career in the youth categories at Al-Nassr before permanently transferring to Al-Ettifaq in the summer of 2024 with a contract extending until 2028, and he has played first-team matches since his transfer.
