Al-Ula's management has succeeded in signing Abdulmajid Al-Sulayyem, a midfielder from Al-Nasr Saudi Club, during the current summer transfer period, as part of efforts to strengthen the squad of the newly promoted team to the Yelo League.

According to the newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah", the contract with Al-Sulayyem aims to prepare the team for qualification to the Roshan League next season, after the player has proven his extensive experience during his career with Al-Nasr.

Al-Ula also finalized the deal for Ammar Al-Dahim, a former Al-Fateh defender, after agreeing to sign Al-Sulayyem, who is 31 years old, as a step to bolster the defense and midfield in preparation for the upcoming season.

Al-Ula officials are also planning to sign a foreign professional in the defense line, to replace the Nigerian William Troost, the defender of Al-Khulood, as part of the efforts to enhance the defensive balance of the team before the competitions begin.

It is worth mentioning that Al-Sulayyem joined Al-Nasr in 2020 from Al-Shabab, and played 122 matches in various competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 6 assists, reflecting his vast experience in the midfield.
