A New Crisis Threatens the Registration of Al-Fateh Players After Bilic's Complaint
Sunday 10-08-2025
The crisis at Al-Fateh club has escalated regarding the registration of its new players, after the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) added the complaint of former Croatian coach Bilic to the list of registration prohibitive cases, alongside another international case and a local dispute with Al-Hazem club.

Bilic's complaint came despite his initial agreement with Al-Fateh's management to terminate the contract amicably after the conclusion of the summer training camp last year. However, the agreement included the payment of his financial dues in installments, which led him to resort to FIFA after the payments were delayed.

This issue coincides with another dispute where a former foreign player is demanding his dues, with sources indicating that it is the Argentine Zilayan, who unilaterally terminated his contract last winter, citing delayed salaries, while the management refuses to confirm or deny the player's identity.

Amid these complications, Al-Fateh continues its training camp in Spain, where it will face Atletico Madrid's under-23 team on Sunday, after winning the first friendly match against CE Europa with a clean goal scored by Argentine Vargas.

The previous match saw the participation of goalkeeper Habib Al-Watyan, who returned from Al-Hilal, in addition to several young players like Muntazer Al-Shakak, Mahdi Al-Aboud, and Ostaam Tambakti, the latter is awaiting his registration as a professional player once the club's suspension is lifted.
