Dhamak Strengthens Its Roster with the Signing of Vada and Harkas

Saturday 09-08-2025
Dhamak Saudi Club has finalized its agreement with two foreign players to support its squad for the new season, with the management successfully signing Argentine midfielder Valentin Vada on a free transfer after his recent stint with Russian club Rubin Kazan.

The signing of Vada is expected to provide the team with a technical boost in the midfield, especially since he has experience in several leagues, despite his recent limited appearances with his former club.

Additionally, Dhamak's management has completed the signing of Moroccan defender Jamal Harkas from Wydad Casablanca, making him a key addition to the defense for the upcoming season.

Hicham Ait Menna, president of Wydad, revealed that the transfer of Harkas came at a financial compensation he described as "substantial," confirming that the club benefited from his departure both technically and financially.

Harkas's signing comes as a replacement for Tunisian Farouk Shafai, whose contract Dhamak's management decided not to renew, as part of their efforts to rejuvenate the team and strengthen its defensive capabilities.
