Officially.. Real Madrid announces the renewal of Garcia's contract
Real Madrid Club announced in an official statement today, Friday, about the renewal of player Gonzalo Garcia's contract until June 30, 2030, allowing him to remain with the team for an additional five years.
The young striker joined Real Madrid in 2014 at the age of 10, growing up in the club's academy, where he spent ten years in the youth categories, and played the last two seasons with the Castilla team.
In November 2023, he made his first appearance with the first team and participated in winning the La Liga title, as well as shining in the Club World Cup, where he was crowned the tournament's top scorer and was selected by FIFA for the tournament's best XI.
In the last season, he scored 25 goals with Castilla, becoming the all-time top scorer in La Liga since its inception, and matching the best scoring record in a single season for Castilla in this century.
The player previously achieved a historic treble with the youth team "Juvenil A" in the 2022-2023 season, winning the league, the King's Cup, and the Champions Cup, in addition to winning the King's Cup in the 2021-2022 season.
With this renewal, Gonzalo will become part of the first team of Real Madrid starting from the new season.
