Alvarez Refuses to Move to Arsenal

Press reports have revealed that Arsenal made an offer to sign Argentine Julian Alvarez during the transfer window, but the striker categorically rejected the offer, confirming his lack of desire to move to the London club.

According to Spanish radio 'SER', Alvarez's only priority is to move to Barcelona, given his clear desire to experience a new challenge in the Spanish league with the Catalan team's jersey.

The player announced yesterday his desire to leave, saying: 'I don't want to seem like I'm pretending or hiding something, I'm just trying to be honest. I have spoken with Atletico officials, and I believe the best option for all parties is to leave, I want to achieve my dream.'

Real Madrid had made an official offer of 150 million euros to sign the player, but Atletico Madrid rejected the offer, while Barcelona also attempted to sign him with an offer of approximately 100 million euros without succeeding in finalizing the deal.

Alvarez's future remains open despite the abundance of offers, as the player remains committed to his preferred option and Atletico Madrid wishes to retain his services.
