In a move reflecting the importance of the upcoming confrontation, the management of Al-Ahli Tripoli announced today, Thursday, that they have requested the President of the Libyan Football Federation, Abdul-Mawla Al-Maghrabi, to assign an elite Italian refereeing crew to officiate the final round match against Al-Hilal Club, as part of the six-team playoff for the title of the Libyan Premier League "Dourina."

The club's management also called for ensuring strict organizational arrangements for this confrontation, as it will be decisive in determining the identity of the league champion for this season.

In a related context, the management sent an urgent memorandum to the President of the Federation requesting legal clarifications regarding the Appeals Committee's decision, which upheld the Competitions Committee's ruling concerning the penalties imposed on the duo Moayed Al-Lafi and Murad Al-Hadhli, without providing clear reasons or legal justification in its decision number (115) for the year 2025.

Al-Ahli Tripoli's management indicated through an official statement that "the absence of justification weakens the authority of the decision," confirming their insistence on their right to know the details of the penalty accurately.
