The Air Force Club announced today its official contract with midfielder Mohammed Saleh, coming from Najaf Club, in a new deal aimed at strengthening the team's midfield with exceptional local experience in preparation for the new football season.

Mohammed Saleh is considered one of the most prominent midfield players in the Iraqi league over the past years, as he is 30 years old and has significant experience through representing several prominent clubs in the Premier League, including Al-Zawraa, Erbil, and finally Najaf, with whom he showed steady and impressive performances last season.

This deal comes as part of the Air Force Club's management efforts to build a complete team that possesses a mix of experience and skill, as they see in Mohammed Saleh a player capable of leading the midfield technically and tactically, thanks to his passing abilities, playmaking, and reading of match dynamics.

Sources close to the club's management indicated that the deal was made after careful monitoring of the player's performance during the last season, and the coaching staff led by coach Rachid Jaber gave the green light to complete the contract, given the player's vision on the field and extensive experience in crucial matches.

Mohammed Saleh is expected to join the team's training in the coming days, to begin the process of integrating with the group, and to be among the coaching staff's options during the preparation period, in anticipation of the start of the new season of the Iraqi Premier League.
