The management of Mouloudia of Algiers is working to finalize the deal to sign South African star Cassius Mailula during the ongoing summer transfer window, aiming to replace the recently departed Youssef Belaili.

According to media reports, the Algerian club officials have entered advanced negotiations with the South African player in an attempt to officially conclude the deal in the coming days.

Mailula, who is 22 years old, is considered one of the rising talents on the African continent, with a current market value of one million euros according to 'Transfermarkt'.

Last season, Mailula had a stint with Wydad Casablanca on loan, where he delivered impressive performances, scoring 6 goals and providing 7 assists in 36 matches, making him a target for many clubs in the region.
