In statements to the press following the Tunisian Super Cup match, Belaili said: "The Esperance fans are unmatched, always supporting the team, and hopefully this season we will lift the African Champions League trophy."

In response to a question about his future, he clarified: "Yes, I will continue with Esperance, and my goal this season is to win the African Champions title."

This confirmation comes just days after Belaili contributed to Esperance's victory in the Tunisian Super Cup, following a win against Stade Tunisien with a score of 1-0, in a match where he shone and made a difference.
