Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya club announced this evening the renewal of the veteran midfielder Saad Abdul Amir's contract for an additional season, allowing the player to continue his journey with the team in the upcoming season of the Iraqi Premier League 2025-2026, as part of the club's policy to retain its core players.

The renewal announcement came after a period of speculation about the player's future, with some reports suggesting that Al-Talaba club was the closest to signing him this summer, amid the "elegant" club's interest in strengthening its squad with experienced players. However, the negotiations did not succeed, leading Abdul Amir to eventually reach an agreement with the Falcons' management to remain for another season under the supervision of coach Rashid Jaber.

Abdul Amir is considered one of the key pillars in Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya's midfield, due to his extensive experience and leadership on the field, in addition to his significant contributions in past seasons that saw the Falcons crowned with several local titles.

The renewal comes at a time when the club is seeking to solidify its core team before entering its preparatory camp in preparation for the new season, with great ambitions to compete in all tournaments and continue its strong presence in the Iraqi Premier League.
