The Cameroonian winger George Kevin Nkoudou, a player for Damak's first football team, has ignited a fierce rivalry between the clubs of Al-Ula and Al-Dhariyah, as he has become a common target for both in the current transfer market.

Nkoudou, who is 30 years old, rejected an official offer from Al-Ula, recently promoted to the Yelo League, due to his desire for a contract that spans three full seasons, rather than the proposed two seasons only.

Al-Ula offered an amount of 3 million dollars (11 million Saudi riyals) for the last season of the player's contract, but Nkoudou's agent informed the club's management of the player's wish for a longer and more stable deal.

Meanwhile, Al-Dhariyah is preparing to make an official offer of up to 4 million dollars (15 million riyals), with a contract extending for three seasons, which could give them an advantage in securing the anticipated deal.

The management of Damak had previously rejected several local and Gulf offers for the player, insisting on a financial ceiling of no less than 14 million riyals to enter into official negotiations with any club.

Nkoudou joined Damak in the summer of 2023 from Turkish club Beşiktaş and has since participated in 63 matches, scoring 28 goals and providing nine assists.
