Wednesday 30-07-2025
The Italian club Torino officially announced on Tuesday that it has signed Moroccan star Zakiya Abu Khalal, coming from French club Toulouse, during the ongoing summer transfer window, in a deal valued at around 10 million euros.

Abu Khalal has completed his first training session with the new team in preparation for the start of the 2025-2026 football season, where he aims to prove himself in Serie A and gain the trust of the Moroccan national team's coaching staff, hoping to be included in the list of the "Atlas Lions" participating in the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 in Morocco.

The Moroccan player's contract with Torino extends until the summer of 2028, with an option for an additional season. The Italian club is counting on Abu Khalal's offensive skills to enhance effectiveness in the front line, especially after previous interest from clubs in the English and German leagues in acquiring the player.

This transfer marks a new and significant step in Abu Khalal's professional career, following his impressive performance in the French league and his participation with the Moroccan national team in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
