Galatasaray announced officially the signing of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, coming from Italian Napoli, during the ongoing summer transfer window.

The official account of Galatasaray posted a video showing Osimhen wearing the team's jersey, confirming his joining the Turkish club, after having played for them last season on loan.

According to media reports, the value of the deal amounted to 75 million euros, with Galatasaray paying 40 million euros immediately, and 35 million euros in the next season, in addition to 5 million euros as bonuses, along with a 10% resale clause, and a provision preventing the player from transferring to any Italian club in the next two years.

Osimhen's transfer is the most expensive in the history of Turkish football, surpassing the deal of Orkun Kökçü to Beşiktaş this summer, which was worth 25 million euros.

Osimhen played 41 matches with Galatasaray last season, scoring 37 goals and assisting 8 goals, and was crowned the top scorer of the Turkish league with 26 goals, also contributing to achieving the league and cup double with the team.
