New Details in Felix's Contract with Al-Nassr
Reports have revealed intriguing clauses in the contract of Portuguese star João Felix, who has recently joined Al-Nassr from Chelsea during the ongoing summer transfer window.
The newspaper "Al-Riyadia" reported that Al-Nassr's management agreed with Felix to amend the terms of his contract to span two years with an option to extend for two additional years, instead of a previous agreement for two years with a third optional year.
The newspaper indicated that the value of the Felix deal amounted to 30 million euros, with Al-Nassr set to pay half of the amount to Chelsea during this week, and the other half in July of next year, in addition to 950,000 euros as bonuses linked to his achievements.
Felix arrived yesterday at Al-Nassr's training camp in Salfelden, Austria, in preparation for the new season, and he is expected to immediately engage in training sessions under coach Jorge Jesus.
In another context, Laurent Blanc, the coach of Al-Ittihad Club, imposed strict physical tests on international players Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti, Faisal Al-Ghamdi, Abdul Rahman Al-Aboud, Marwan Al-Sahafi, and Saleh Al-Shehri during the team's camp in Portugal.
These tests were conducted to ensure the players' physical readiness before their participation in the third friendly match against Fulham, as part of the second phase of the camp that continues until August 8 in preparation for facing Al-Nassr in the semi-finals of the Super Cup.
