Saudi Al-Ahli continues its moves in the summer transfer market, as Brazilian Lucas Paquetá, the star of West Ham, has become a point of interest for the team to strengthen the midfield ahead of the new season.

Al-Ahli aims to compensate for the departure of Spanish player Gabri Veiga to Porto and Brazilian Roberto Firmino to Qatari club Al Sadd by signing a foreign player capable of providing the necessary technical addition.

Journalist Sami Al-Qadi, close to the club's atmosphere, reported that German coach Matthias Jaissle has included Paquetá in his list of options to reinforce the squad of 'Al-Raqi' in preparation for a strong upcoming season.

Lucas Paquetá, 27 years old, joined West Ham in the summer of 2022 from French club Olympique Lyon, and he is contracted until June 2027, with a market value estimated at around 28 million euros.

The Brazilian star has played 120 matches with West Ham across various competitions, during which he has scored 18 goals and provided 14 assists, reflecting his great abilities in playmaking and contributing to scoring.
