Former Zamalek Star: What Imam Ashour Achieved with Zamalek is 10 Times More than What He Achieves with Al-Ahly
The player Ahmed Mahmoud, a former Zamalek star currently on loan to Al-Ittihad Al-Sakandari, confirmed that what Imam Ashour achieved with Zamalek is 10 times more than what he has achieved with Al-Ahly.
Ahmed Mahmoud said via "On Sport FM": "I wished that Imam Ashour would continue his journey with Zamalek; he is a great player, but what he achieved with the white team is 10 times more than what he is doing with Al-Ahly, and I wish him success."
He added: "Imam Ashour, Wisam Abu Ali, and Hossam Abdel-Majid are the three best players of Zamalek last season, while Mohamed El-Shebi from Pyramids and Omar Gaber, the star of the white team, are the best in the right-back position in Egypt."
He concluded: "Zamalek fans have wronged Mustafa Shalaby; he is one of the most hardworking players both on and off the field, and the proof is that he was a starter with any coach, whether Egyptian or foreign. He is a player with great potential, and you will see him with Bank Al-Ahly under the guidance of Captain Tarek Mustafa in a different style."
