Al-Arabi Qatar officially announced in a statement that it has signed French midfielder Jordan Veretout from Lyon during the current transfer market.
According to several media reports, the deal is valued at 500,000 euros, in addition to Lyon receiving 50% of any future sale of the player.
Veretout's transfer comes after a short stint with Lyon, as the player decided to embark on a new experience in the Qatari league with Al-Arabi.
It is noteworthy that the French star has played for several clubs, most notably Saint-Étienne, Fiorentina, Roma, Aston Villa, and Marseille.
